Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) participated in the 21st WAIPA World Investment Conference held in Istanbul, Turkey, on 13-14 of October, 2016. The KDIPA delegation was represented by Mr. Mohammad Yousef Yaqoub, Assistant Director General for Business Development, Mr. Fawaz Sulaiman Al-Mughrabi, KDIPA Planning & Competitiveness Department, and Ms. Hessa Rashed Bouresli, KDIPA Promotional Activities Department.
This annual meeting brought together Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs) from a vast number of countries; government officials and private sector representatives.
Discussions, took place, revolving around key topics that make investments more sustainable such as global businesses, Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) professionals that can help scale up quality of investment promotion, and the leaders of relevant international organizations.
