KDIPA takes part in the Kuwaiti Official Delegation to the People’s Republic of China

Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) took part in the official delegation of the State of Kuwait in its visit to the People’s Republic of China during the period September 6-11, 2017, aiming to enhance the bilateral economic and commercial relations and encourage cross border direct investments. H.E.  the Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Mr. Khaled Nasser Al-Roudhan headed the Kuwaiti delegation, and KDIPA was represented by the Director of the One Stop Shop Department, Sheikh Abdullah Sabah Al-Sabah.

The visit included participating in the China-Arab Forum 2017, as well as holding several meetings with major Chinese companies operating in various fields including contracting, construction, alternative energy, e-commerce, oil and gas.

During this visit, Kuwait’s unique competitive advantages were highlighted and investors were encouraged to establish legal entities in the dynamic Kuwaiti market benefiting from its attractive investment climate and favorable facilitation services for interested investors, and capitalizing on Kuwait’s strategic location to enter into the extended neighboring regional markets to grow their businesses.
