KDIPA Participates in the “Workshop on Strategic Planning and Foresight”

Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) participated in the “Workshop on Strategic Planning and Foresight” from 27 November to 1 December 2017 held in Singapore, organized jointly by the Kuwait Civil Service Commission and the Singapore Civil Service College. Representatives from 10 other government entities also attended the workshop. The workshop was intended for participants to learn about the pioneering approaches that Singapore adopted in tackling several pertinent issues which included governance, Master Plans and Concept Plans, leadership and accountability, land transport plans, economic development policies, development of the One-North Business Park, education system, long term planning and futures thinking, and public policy development. The Workshop included field visits to the Urban Redevelopment Authority, and the Institute of Technical Education College Central. The workshop concluded with a ceremony for granting Certificates of Accomplishment to the participants, with the presence of the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Singapore H.E. Mr. Yaqoub Al Sanad.
