KDIPA and U.S. Chamber Co-organizes a Webinar for American Companies

Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce co-organized a webinar for American companies to shed light on the measures taken by the State of Kuwait to combat COVID-19 pandemic, on May 6, 2020.

H.E. Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, KDIPA’s Director General, gave a brief overview on the measures taken by the country and touched upon the first round of economic stimulus package initiated.

In addition, he highlighted KDIPA’s response to the COVID-19 crisis which included sustaining proactive communications with its licensed investors and other partners. The webinar ended with a Q&A session.

Mr. Khush Choksy, Senior Vice President of Middle East Affairs, Mr. Steve Lutes, Vice President of Middle East Affairs and Ms. Sarah Karle, Director of Middle East Affairs represented the U.S. Chambers in the webinar.
