KDIPA takes part in the Kuwaiti delegation to Turkey

Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) took part in the Kuwaiti delegation to the Republic of Turkey during June 20-23, 2017, headed by His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Industry Mr. Khaled Al Roudan. KDIPA was represented by the Head of Project Evaluation and Granting Incentives Division, Mr. Naser Al Salman.

The trip aimed to strengthen economic relations between the State of Kuwait and Turkey, and to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries in ways to increase trade exchange, as well as sharing and transferring expertise in the Turkish industrial sector.

His Excellency held meetings and discussions with H.E. Nihat Zeybekci, Minister of Economy, and H.E. Faruk Ozlu, Minister of Science, Industry and Technology, Mr. Arda Ermut, Director of the Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey (ISPAT), and a number of businessmen from the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEiK).

The meetings discussed investment and trade between the two countries, and the incentives and facilitations of investing in the State of Kuwait, as well as the projects due to be accomplished in the economic and industrial sectors of the “Kuwait 2035” vision.
